(Guerneville, CA) – The Russian River Jazz & Blues Festival is proud to celebrate 40 years of music on the river. This year’s event will take place on September 10th and 11th at Johnson’s Beach & Resort in Guerneville. Headlining the 40th Annual festival will be Jonny Lang, Keb’ Mo’, Chaka Khan and Brian Culbertson, along with Bobby Rush, Sheila E., Nikki Hill, Raul Midón, Moreland & Arbuckle, Igor Prado from Brazil, The Cosmo Alleycats and The Retroz.
For the last 40 years, music festivals have been a vital part of the Russian River community, and the Russian River Jazz & Blues Festival now ranks amongst the oldest music festivals in North America, alongside groundbreaking events like the Newport Folk Festival and Monterey Jazz Festival – and continually voted Best Music Festival in Sonoma County by the readers of the North Bay Bohemian.

Headlining the Blues Day on Sunday, September 11th will be guitar slinger Jonny Lang and blues storyteller Keb’ Mo’! Plus, Blues Hall of Famer Bobby Rush, Moreland and Arbuckle, Nikki Hill and many others!
