(Boise, ID) – Fat Tuesday is party time with four hours of great blues music at one of the Boise Blues Society’s (BBS) biggest events of the year on Tuesday February 28. BBS ushers in its 25th year of bringing the best in blues music to Boise and Treasure Valley with its annual Fat Tuesday Celebration and Fundraiser at the Playhouse Boise (8001 W. Fairview). Band lineup (in order of appearance): Blues Collective, Jake Leg, The Blues Directors, The Blues Addicts & Brass Tacks Horns. Doors 5:30pm and music 6pm-10:30pm. Tickets are $20. Costume contest, large dancefloor, no host food and full bar.
All proceeds from this event help support the BBS Blues in the Schools program, which provides free blues education and live music programs free-of-charge to any area school, and scholarships to young promising musicians. The event always sells out in advance, so get your tickets early!
