Sullivan County Blues & Music Festival

ROCK HILL, NY – The third annual Sullivan County Blues & Music Festival will be Friday and Saturday, November 28-29 at The Sullivan on Rock Hill Drive in Rock Hill. This year’s event will be “A Tribute to Eric Clapton.”

Doors open at 4 p.m. Friday and at noon Saturday. On both days, the Hudson Valley All Star Eric Clapton Tribute Band will perform, featuring Rhett Tyler, Slam Allen, Murali Coryell, Michael Torsone, Brad Scribner, Dale Hamond, and Fred “Midnite Slim” Scribner, a master guitarist formerly with the Levon Helm Band.

In addition, each day features a wealth of talent. Onstage Friday will be Dean Shot, Tom Dudley Blues Buddha, Michael Torsone, and Murali Coryell. Saturday will feature workshops, a youth jam, and an open jam plus the talented Michael Packer, Dan Brother and Willa Panvini.

Scribner, who was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame earlier this year, also will welcome his former partner Little Sammy Davis, a resident of Park Manor, to celebrate his 86th birthday.
