International Songwriting CompetitionFounded in 2002, the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena by the most prestigious panel of judges of all songwriting and music contests in the world.

ISC awards more than $150,000 in cash and prizes to amateur and professional songwriters.  A total of 68 winners from 120 countries worldwide are selected from almost 20,000 entries and are chosen for their exceptional songwriting skill in 22 categories including Blues.

Over the years ISC’s iconic judges have included artists such as B.B. King, Kenny Wayne Shepard, James Cotton, Robben Ford, John Hiatt, Branford Marsalis, Jeff Beck, Tom Waits, Brian Wilson, Brian Setzer, Steve Winwood, Ben Harper, Ray Davies, Taj Mahal and many more of this caliber.

Additionally, ISC judges include many industry executives and major label Presidents and VPs of A&R such as Bruce Iglauer (Founder/President, Alligator Records) and more.  In total, each year ISC
