(Morristown, NJ) – The sixth year annual, free Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival will come to the Morristown Green on Saturday, Aug. 20, with performances starting at noon and running through 10 pm Saturday. The event with headliner Robert Randolph & The Family Band, will feature blues, soul, swing and more plus celebrating local favorite guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli’s 90th birthday and paying tribute to the late bassist Rusty Paul. Parking is available in the public lots and the train station is just a couple of blocks away. Bring blankets and beach chairs.

Performers will include special guest headliner Robert Randolph & the Family Band, the pedal steel guitarist  who draws from blues and soul; Quinn Sullivan, young blues guitarist extraordinaire; Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses, only son of the incomparable Louis Prima paying tribute, The Bucky Pizzarelli Quartet drawing from the Great American Songbook;  George Gee Swing Orchestra who will pay tribute to the great tunes of the Swing Era.
