Sean Costello

ATLANTA, GA – Join us for this annual Celebration of Sean Costello on Saturday, April 18 at the Northside Tavern (1058 Howell Mill Rd NW) in Atlanta, Georgia. Performing will be Joe McGuinness, The Hollidays, Blues Fish, and The Cody Matlock Band.

Because of his unique interpretation of American roots music and his generous spirit, Sean Costello’s passing in 2008 has ignited a burning desire to keep his personal and musical memory alive and to translate the human side of his suffering into action that will help in research, education, outreach and treatment efforts for Bipolar Disorder.

Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in a person’s mood, energy, and ability to function. Different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through, the symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe..

We are dedicated to improving the future of creative people with bipolar disorder, while facing challenges unique to the creative person. All that we do revolves around the three pillars of our mission: Creativity Link, Treatment in Tune, and the Common Challenge of Reducing Stigma.

With your help, we hope to facilitate our goals to assist with services such as counseling and mental health and educational research. The Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization and donations are tax deductible
