(Eureka, CA) – A stellar line-up has been announced for the first annual Acres of Blues Festival on the weekend of September 2-3, 2017 at the Redwood Acres Fairgrounds in Eureka. Acts include Laurie Morvan, Lydia Pence & Cold Blood, Vokler Strifler, Shane Dwight, and many others. This line-up will encourage blues lovers from afar to travel to Humboldt County and camp on site at the fairgrounds.
Producer Michael Buell says: “After a long absence, the Blues are back in Eureka. People are excited, the response is overwhelming.”
Saturday’s complete line-up is: Laurie Morvan Band, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, Volkler Strifler, Pearl Alley Band, and The Jim Lahman Band.
Sunday’s complete line-up is: Shane Dwight Band, Daniel Castro Band, AJ Crawdaddy, AC Myles, and the Anna Hamilton Trio.

Advance tickets are $50 per day or $85 for both days and can be purchased with credit card by calling 707/445-3037. At the gate tickets are $60 per day or $110 for the weekend. Camping is an additional charge of $45 and allows campers three nights of camping: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Single night camping is $20 at the gate.
