(LINCOLN CITY, OR) – The Lincoln City
Cultural Center (540 NE Hwy. 101 in Lincoln City, Oregon) will hold their
fundraiser on Sunday, May 26. This night of blues and a homestyle barbecue
dinner will benefit the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Your admission includes a
beef brisket dinner with all the trimmings and a concert of East Texas blues
and soul with Randy McAllister and his band, plus one ticket to the prize
raffle. There will be room to dance and a no-host bar with Northwest beers by
the bottle and wines by the glass. Dinner is served at 5:30pm with music and
dancing start at 7pm. Show-only ticket holders will be admitted at 6:30pm. Open
to all ages.
Roustabout, maverick, spiritual, gritty,
amazing, genius, wild, bad-ass, soulful… These are some of the words used to
describe Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and bluesman Randy McAllister and
his four-piece band. It’s East Texas roadhouse soul by one of America’s true
blues/roots originals. One of the most versatile bluesmen in Texas, Randy plays
driving drums and world-class harmonica, writes incredible songs, and sings
like no one else.
Dinner and Show tickets are $40 for
adults, $20 for kids ages 12-18, $10 for kids ages 6-11. Show only
tickets are $25 adults, $12 kids ages 12-18, $5 for children ages 6-11 and
under.
All proceeds from the 2019 Blues Benefit & BBQ will go to the operations of the Lincoln City Cultural Center (LCCC), a nonprofit center for creativity and community. Or, buy them in person at the Info Center, inside the LCCC at 540 NE Hwy. 101 (open six days a week 9am-5pm every day except closed on Tuesday.
