Bluesman Mark Telesca can use some kindness right now

No Comments Latest Blues News

Mark TelescaAl Poliak from The Funky Biscuit has set up a “YouCaring” page (similar to Go Fund Me) to help with medical and living expenses for our good friend Mark Telesca. He has been forced to cancel all of his gigs for June, July and most of August. He has not worked very much since early March and really needs some assistance.

Mark had emergency surgery in early March and was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. After recovering from surgery, he had to begin chemotherapy treatments. Mark continued to work until he had a serious setback in the beginning of May. He ended up back in the hospital with another serious condition due to an infection and had to spend four days in quarantine. After that, his doctors advised him to stay home and stay away from crowds. As a full-time musician, Mark will not be able to work until his chemo treatments are completed. He could use your help with medical bills and living expenses. Please donate if you can, it is much appreciated.

The Mark Telesca Medical and Living Assistance Fund goal is $25,000* (*as of today $14,222 has been raised). Kindness is powerful… Even a 30 second share on
Facebook can help.

YouCaring is dedicated to compassionate crowdfunding, providing free and easy online fundraising and support for humanitarian causes.
