(MS, TN, AR) – Since 2000 the Delta region has enjoyed a blues renaissance, with the arrival of new festivals, venues, museums, and the Mississippi Blues Trail series of historic markers. In order to help maximize visitors’ experiences of the area’s blues riches, the “Bridging the Blues” project is bringing you America’s music by coordinating events over a multi-week period, from September to October.
Weekend-long events include the Mighty Mississippi Music Festival in Greenville, Mississippi (September 30-October 2) and the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas (October 5-8) plus many more opportunities for live music and exhibits throughout the area to make the most of your visit!
