(Memphis, TN) – On Friday September 29, the mid-south music community will come together at Neil’s Music Room in Memphis, TN to raise funds for the Memphis Blues Society. 2017 Grammy winner Vasti Jackson is the featured band. The Reba Russell Trio will open this incredible night of music at 9pm. Neil’s is a non-smoking venue.
The Memphis Blues Society is a non-profit, volunteer powered affiliate of the Blues Foundation. This event is being held to raise funds to support the MBS to continue its mission to conduct and sponsor Blues music events in local venues, promote Blues musicians from greater Memphis and the mid-south, and to build and educate a local audience on Blues music.
