Stormcellar – The All Colours Blues Tour

No Comments Latest Blues News

Stormcellar returns to the Midwest this year to open the Crossroads Festival in Rockford, Ilinois and play a string a of shows across the Midwest on the All Colours Blues tour.

Audiences developed a taste for Stormcellars’ Australian take on blues and Rroots during their first tour in 2013 and began following them Dead Head style through Illinois.

The All Colours Blues tour sees the band return at full complement, a 6 piece of slide guitar, harmonica, electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin and percussion combo and this time they’ve shanghaied mother of four, Jo Fitzgerald, from sleepy rural Cumnock in rural New South Wales to come and sing with the band! That’s right, now with 20% more Australian per show. Mmmm good.

Stormcellar are a born and bred live performance band with an impeccable song writing pedigree. They’re regarded as one of the hardest working blues and roots acts in Australia, with a heavy schedule playing to all ages at venues from hipster hangouts to chicken wire cages, biker bars, pubs, clubs, festivals and bondi.

It’s a strange world, with little explanations. Right now there is a band prowling the mid west living and playing like it means something.

If you get the chance to see Stormcellar, take it.

Stormcellar are booked for shows in IL, MO, KS, WI, IN and looking for some last minute shows in CA. Hit ’em up if you have a place to play, they’re coming and they want to hang out with you.
