MEMPHIS, TN – Though the Grand Opening of the Blues Hall of Fame is not until Friday May 8, on February 26, The Blues Foundation moved its office from the space they had been renting since June 1, 2014, back into 421 South Main, where construction of the Blues Hall of Fame exhibits continues.
The next milestone will be April 9 when they plan to unveil the Little Milton statue, inspired by the cover of his last studio album, Think of Me, sponsored by his friends and fans at the North Atlantic Blues Festival in Rockland, Maine. It has been sculpted by Andrea Lugar and is now in the process of being cast in bronze by Larry Lugar, who also makes the Blues Foundation’s Blues Music Awards each year.
