United by Music North America is a performance-based program for musically talented, neuro-diverse Artists, mentored by professional musicians and performing together as a band for general audiences. Our UBMNA Artists will share stories about their lives being transformed, the joy of having friends, and transcending their daily challenges in this program. Audiences, Volunteers, Mentors, and anyone who experiences UBMNA discovers a new perspective for people with developmental delays such as Autism, Aspergers and Williams Syndrome, realizing how we are more alike than different.
Embracing this program can bring blues education and performance opportunities to the musically talented, differently-abled Artists in your community. “This could be a wonderful program for your affiliated society to offer in your blues region,” says Blues Foundation President and CEO, Barbara Newman.
