“We Are the Music Makers” opening reception at the B.B. King Museum Oct 23

B.B. King Museum

(Indianola, MS) – Music Maker Relief Foundation – the non-profit organization that supports traditional Southern musicians by documenting and presenting their art – will be the subject of a museum exhibition set to travel to the B.B. King Museum and display from October 23rd through November 30th, 2014. “We Are the Music Makers,” which delves deeply into the living southern musical culture and the musicians themselves, will travel to venues throughout the country over the next five to seven years.

There will be an opening reception for the exhibit at the B.B. King Museum, 400 Second Street, Indianola, Mississippi, on Thursday, October 23 from 6-8pm. Admission is free and light food and beverages will be provided. The exhibit will also be free to view during its time at the Museum.
