Historic Gloucester Village will rock with great blues again this year when "Main Street Blues and Brews" returns for its fourth year on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 11:30AM - 7:00PM. Located on a shady and pleasant downtown corner, with plenty of cool shops and restaurants nearby, Gloucester Virginia's popular annual blues and beer festival brings over 1,000 blues fans from up and down the east coast to its vibrant and charming downtown.
Live music begins at 12 noon, featuring popular regional blues acts including: Herbie D and the Dangermen (12 noon - 1:00PM), Tough Deal (1:20PM -2:20PM), Bobby "Blackhat" Walters (2:40PM - 3:40PM), Planet Full of Blues (4:00PM - 5:10PM) and The Julius Pittman Project (5:30 - 7:00PM). Everyone's invited to come out and enjoy over 20 different handcrafted microbrews including Devils Backbone, St. George, Williamsburg Alewerks, and many more.
Ticket price includes: souvenir glass with event logo, 4 drink tickets and all day access to the musical lineup. The festival also offers great food! Main Street restaurants will be on site offering a wide variety of specially selected menu items for purchase. Some seating will be available on site, but attendees may want to bring folding chairs as well. The festival is rain or shine.
