Studio artist, muralist and art educator, Tony Davenport,
paints the landscapes of Mississippi and beyond and
the sounds of music in living color. The movement in his
paintings aims to show that art is really an imitation of
life. Vicksburg, MS native and award-winning artist,
Davenport is also a visual-arts teacher. This original
painting for BFG captures a colorful, down-home
festival vibe. We’re honored to feature his vibrant
artwork on our 10 anniversary cover.
