A Blues Festival with a twist this year!
(New Boston, NH) – The Granite State Blues Society announces the 12th annual Barnful of Blues Festival which will be held on Saturday August 2, 2014 with profits to benefit the Webster House of Manchester, NH. This festival features local and national acts and will be held at the Hillsborough Youth Center fairgrounds on Rt. 13, New Boston, NH from noon to 8pm.
This year’s bands will include the Legendary James Montgomery Blues Band, Professor Harp, Erin Harpe & The Delta Swingers, The Skip Philbrick Blues Band, Sweet Willie D, The Installers and the Granite State Blues I.B.C. Memphis Blues Competition winners Blues Tonight Band. It promises to be a great show.
This year we are presenting our headliner, The James Montgomery Blues Band at 3pm, the festival will rock on until 8pm with local favorite The Ship Philbrick Blues Band closing the festivities!
In addition to a great day of music, many local food and crafts vendors will be present. Raffles and a 50/50 are offered. Attendees are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item for a free raffle ticket. Food items are donated to local food shelters.
Gates open at 11:00am. Live music starts at noon. Early Bird tickets are $20 and are available until July 31st. Children 12 and under are FREE. Adult tickets are $25 at the gate. The Barnful of Blues is a rain or shine event. If the weather calls for rain, we move the festivities into the barn on site.

The Granite State Blues Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is comprised of a group of music-loving individuals from New Hampshire who use their love of music to promote events that will raise funds for children’s charities. The Granite State Blues Society is an affiliate member of The Blues Foundation.
