 Lancaster Roots & Blues Festival returns to downtown Lancaster, PA, February 27–March 1, 2026. It is celebrating 10 years of roots-driven, soul-centered music in one of Pennsylvania’s most walkable small cities.
An intimate, artist-forward festival, Lancaster Roots & Blues transforms the downtown core into a three-day, multi-venue music experience. The event featuring 50+ concerts across indoor stages within a three-block radius, all accessible with a single wristband. The festival’s close-knit layout and listening-room settings offer fans rare proximity to world-class performers.
The 10th anniversary lineup reflects the depth and diversity that has defined the festival since its inception, with performances by Albert Cummings, Billy Price, Lamont Landers, Charlie Apicella & Jimmy Reed, The Yard Birds, Curtis Family C-Notes, Amani Burnham, Jimmy McClean Band, True Loves, Sean “Mack” McDonald, and many more.

Musically spanning blues, soul, funk, Americana, jazz, roots, rock & roll, reggae, and zydeco, the festival prioritizes authenticity and musicianship over trends—earning it a loyal following and the affectionate nickname “Spring Break for Adults.”

“Reaching ten years is incredibly meaningful,” said the festival’s organizing team. “Our goal has always been to create an intimate, welcoming experience where the music comes first and the audience feels part of it.”


Returning to its original late-winter dates, the festival offers added value for traveling fans, including lower seasonal hotel and B&B; rates. 

EXPECTING BIG TURN OUT

Organizers expect thousands of attendees from across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.
Continuing its commitment to music with a mission, the festival has partnered with Ziggy Marley and the U.R.G.E. Foundation to support rebuilding efforts in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. 

Two dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to the initiative.
