(TORONTO, CANADA) – The Toronto Blues Society presents the Maple Blues Awards live Monday, January 30, 2023 at 231 Queens Quay West, Toronto Canada. Hosted by renowned soul singing activist Quisha Wint, the 28th edition of the Maple Blues Awards brings together a community of passionate and talented artists.

The stage will be full of talent with Gary Kendall leading the remarkable ten-piece Maple Blues Band through the night. In 18 categories artists are recognized for their annual contribution to the scene including the lifetime or Blues With A Feeling and Blues Booster trophies. This year there will also be an introduction of a new Indigenous Blues award recognizing the strength of creativity across the land.
