(Hyannis, MA) – For those that don’t know us yet, the New England Blues Summit is a three day music festival happening on Cape Cod. This year we are bringing you two nights of incredible national blues artists and three days of the best regional blues bands around. If that’s not enough we will also be presenting some of the region’s best acoustic artists, up and coming youth artists and even have a discussion panel with regional festival promoters and venue owners.

So let me tell you about our national performers first. On Friday night we are opening the main show with Anthony Gomes, that crazy good rocking bluesman from up north. He puts on an over the top energetic show, you will be floored. If you have not seen Anthony then all I can say is come to our event. Following Anthony will be Tommy Castro and Mike Zito bringing you their Six Strings Down show. I guess you could call Friday our guitar Slingers night. If you stay at the resort (more on that later) you’ll be glad you could walk to your room from the show to your room.

Saturday night we have Anthony Geraci & The Boston Blues All-Stars opening up the night. Comprised of some of the areas legendary blues talent you will be most suitably impressed. After Anthony and gang are finished we have headliner Shemekia Copeland performing. I’m quite certain I do not need to tell you how incredible she is.

Just the national acts alone make for a great weekend on Cape Cod but we’ve got a whole lot more for you. During the day and early evening we will be having some of the area’s best blues artists performing. We’ve put together a smokin’ weekend package deal because really, you just want to be here for all three days. $379.99 per person for a 3-day weekend blues vacation including meals, tickets and a whole lot more. Double occupancy required. Stay with us at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Check out the rest of the amazing line up.

On Friday we have Johnny Hoy & The Bluefish at 3pm rocking our lounge performance area.

On Saturday we have a full day planned for you. Grits & Groceries Orchestra at Noon, Willie J Laws Band with Diane Blue at 3pm, Youth and Acoustic showcases throughout the day and discussion panels featuring area festival promoters and venue owners. Hopefully you’ll have energy left for the evening’s main act.

On Sunday we have two amazing performances for you. At 10am we have a blues brunch (weekend package holders only) featuring Racky Thomas & The Travelin’ Medicine Show Revival Band. If you have not seen Racky you are in for a treat. After that we have our farewell lounge show featuring with the legendary Toni Lynn Washington, Sam Gentile, Bruce Bears, Sonya Rae and Ryan Taylor. Some of the best our region has to offer

Now take all that in and consider this. We have planned our festival to be at one of the nicest resorts on Cape Cod and we’ve put together a weekend package that gets you access to ALL shows and a whole lot more. The Package also includes meals, room and access to all resort amenities. You can show up Friday and not get in your car until Sunday. All activities are indoors (New England Weather) but there are outdoor things to do as well. Use the golf course… Oh did I mention we’re trying to put together a golf tournament together for Friday? You could also walk the 52 acre landscaped property the resort is on if you like.
