(COVINGTON, KY) – Renowned blues band, Victor Wainwright and The Train, will perform a show this Saturday, August 10 at The Band of Helping Hands – the Covington, Kentucky non-profit that offers support and personal growth to disadvantaged children and young adults through art, education, and athletic programs – as a part of the band’s Summer 2019 Tour. Tickets for the 7:30pm show are between $20 and $30, with all proceeds benefiting The Band of Helping Hands’ mission.

Wainwright and his band were recently nominees at the 2019 Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Blues Album and at the 2019 Independent Blues Awards for Best Contemporary Blues CD, Best Blues Stage Performance, Road Warrior, Contemporary Blues Song, and Contemporary Blues Band categories.
