MEMPHIS, TN – Rock ’n’ Soul presents the Memphis Music Hall of Fame (MMHOF) induction ceremony, Saturday, October 17 at the Canon Center for The Performing Arts (255 No. Main St.). If you’ve got music in your soul, this is the event for you. This evening will celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of some of the most prolific musicians in history. Among performers, Steve Cropper, guitarist and former member of Booker T. and the MGs, drummer Jim Keltner, and Steve Jordan will join together in a tribute to inductee Al Jackson Jr. Tracey Nelson, blues vocalist and lead singer for Mother Earth, will perform in tribute to Memphis Slim.

The MMHOF is honoring 2015 inductees Alberta Hunter, Al Jackson Jr., Scotty Moore, Charlie Rich, Sam & Dave, and Justin Timberlake. They join previous inductees Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Al Green, Jerry Lee Lewis, Howlin’ Wolf, Isaac Hayes, Johnny Cash, and others.
