(Memphis, TN) – The Blues Foundation in partnership with broadcast partner Ditty TV will announce the 39th Blues Music Awards nominees LIVE from Memphis on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.  Bobby Rush, Kenny Neal, and John Nemeth will emcee the announcements beginning at 10am CST. You can watch the announcements in real time on any of Ditty TVs multiple platforms as well as via Facebook Live on The Blues Foundation Facebook page.

Barbara Newman, President/CEO of the Blues Foundation says, “We have enlisted approximately 100 blues aficionados from all aspects of the blues world to review close to 250 submitted recordings and vote on their top choices in 26 categories and we will be sharing our BMA nominees in each category via a live stream broadcast… Tune-in in real time to be a part of this important Blues Music Awards announcement.”
