WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
The title track from the 2024 album by the APSO, What Are You Waiting For? Bob Sarles and Ravin Films did a spectacular job of producing this video using footage shot during the recording sessions at 25th Street Recording Studio, Oakland, and live footage from the album release party.

“What Are You Waiting For?” is the sixth album for APSO, but only the first with the inimitable two time GRAMMY nominee, Willy Jordan. The APSO sound is driven by a searing horn section, a driving rhythm section, and three astonishing background singers. The arrangements of their songs put a new spin on Mid-Century Soul and Blues. It’s no secret lead vocalist Willy Jordan has been deeply inspired and influenced by the Soul and Blues greats dominating the airwaves of the ’60s and ’70s. Willy is second to none, and delivers each song directly from his heart to yours.
“What Are You Waiting For?” is a collection of eleven thoughtfully written, relatable, original songs. APSO shares observations of life’s hopes, hits, and misses, and addresses weighty social issues without finger wagging, or preachy rhetoric. Jordan glides through this varied musical landscape with captivating confidence.
