The Black Mountain Blues Society proudly announces lineup for the 2026 Black Mountain Blues Experience September 25–27, 2026, in downtown Black Mountain, North Carolina

BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC) — The Black Mountain Blues Society proudly announced the full artist lineup for the 2026 Black Mountain Blues Experience. The festival will be taking place on September 25–27, 2026, in downtown Black Mountain, North Carolina. This year’s September event introduces a thoughtfully curated, intentionally intimate format. It is designed to deepen the connection between artists and audience.

VENUE

Hosted entirely indoors at the White Horse Black Mountain venue, the 2026 event will welcome approximately 200 guests per performance. This will offer a rare opportunity to experience world-class blues artists in a focused listening environment. Rather than scaling for size, the 2026 Black Mountain Blues Experience emphasizes presence. Bringing legendary performers, Grammy-nominated artists, and International Blues Challenge winners into a setting where every note can be felt as much as heard, is the goal.

The 2026 lineup honors the deep traditions of blues while showcasing its evolving future. The line up blends internationally recognized headliners with rising regional and national talent. With artists representing Memphis, Nashville, the Mississippi Delta, and the Carolinas, the Black Mountain Blues Experience brings together a wide-ranging and authentic cross-section of blues traditions. From Memphis soul and Nashville blues to Sacred Steel roots, Chicago-influenced styles, and modern blues innovation, the weekend offers a curated journey through the depth and diversity of the genre—celebrating its history while highlighting its continued evolution.
