An “Evening of Blues” April 24 to benefit the historic Lions Lincoln Theater


(MASSILLON, OH) – The Lions Lincoln Theatre is hosting an “Evening of Blues” musical event Saturday in an effort to financially benefit the historic location.
 
Local blues artists will coming together for a live performance at the venue to help offset financial losses experienced by the theater over the last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Located at 156 Lincoln Way E, Massillon, Ohio, the building was built in 1915 and was sold in the 1980’s to the Massillon Lions Club, who still operate it today.
 
The “Evening of Blues” will feature acoustic blues with Steve Farley; John Caracillo and Naturally Blue; and The Lincoln Street Blues Band.
 
Tickets are $10 at the door. Advance purchases are available by calling the theater at 330-481-9105. Showtime is 7:30pm Saturday, April 24. Doors open at 6:30pm.
