This summer, Delta Blues Museum located in Clarksdale, MS is once again participating in the Blue Star Museum program. This program benefits active duty military and their families. The museum features Muddy Waters house and items from Otis Clay, John Lee Hooker and Kingfish Blues. It is Clarksdale’s premier blues museum! Uncover the origins of the blues. The best blues museum. It’s a museum dedicated to collecting, preserving, and providing public access to and awareness of the musical genre known as the blues.

In appreciation of these men and women, the Museum is offering free admission to those currently serving and up to five family members. This campaign will run now through Labor Day! Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and participating museums across America.

Free admission is available for those currently serving in the United States Military. This includes: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members.
