Last month, organizers of the Telluride Brews & Blues Festival invited Music Maker Relief Foundation partner artists Robert Finley and Alabama Slim to play the long-running event. The Music Maker Relief Foundation has just unveiled a video documenting the blues performers’ visit to Telluride Brews & Blues as well as the partnership with festival organizers.
Music Maker is a 501c3 non-profit which was founded to preserve the musical traditions of the South by directly supporting the musicians who make it, ensuring their voices will not be silenced by poverty and time. When one of the festival’s organizers, Steve Gumble from SBG Productions, met Music Makers’ Tim Duffy, the pair bonded over a shared appreciation of the musical traditions of America’s South and of the Foundation’s mission.
