(DEPEW, NY) – Join us for the Nurs’n Blues Music Fest featuring Kenny Neal! The Cove will feature 2 stages with music from 3pm-10pm. Tikcets are $20-$25 and proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Nurs’n Blues music therapy program.
Featuring Grammy nominated and Buffalo Music Award-winning bluesman Kenny Neal, this event is presented by Patti Parks in collaboration with Music Is Art and the Western New York Blues Society, Saturday, May 25, at The Cove, (4701 Transit Road, Depew, New York).

Now in its fourth year, the Nurs’n Blues music program has served more than 1,000 clients and families. Each week, a board-certified music therapist creates a plan of care that includes music interventions. During these sessions the therapist makes a correlation examining influences of blues American history, lyrics or particular music format or rhythm which help insight feelings or touch upon thoughts opening critical pathways to the brain.
