Ready to Rumble Sept 1-2 at New Blues Festival for 6 String Showdown Finals

(LONG BEACH, CA) – This Labor Day Weekend get ready to rumble at the New Blues Festival in Long Beach when the 6 String Showdown, the summer’s biggest guitar competition, rolls into town. Orange County Regional winners, Jesse Godoy and Ewen Williams, face off with Arcadia’s best, Jessica Kaczmarek and Andy Vimar on Saturday, September 1 at 4pm on the Golden Groove Stage. Judges will determine which two finalists will go head to head on the Main Stage of the New Blues Festival Sunday, September 2 at 2:30pm. Southern California’s all-around, best blues guitar hero will then be crowned and walk away with over $5000 in cash and prizes, including an Eastman T58-v Archtop guitar and more!

The New Blues Festival will be held 10am-8pm at EL Dorado Park (Area 3/Glider Field, 7550 E Spring Street, Long Beach, CA) and over 30 bands on 2 stages including headliners The Lowriders, Janiva Magness, James Harman, and Dennis Jones. Tickets are available now at the festival website.
