Reno Blues Society hosts M*A*S*H  B*A*S*H Nov. 6th to benefit Vets


(RENO, NV) – The Reno Blues Society will hold its annual veteran’s benefit dance and returns to the familiar military theme of M*A*S*H  B*A*S*H on Saturday, Nov 6 at Boomtown Hotel Casino (2100 Garson Rd.), Reno, Nevada. All proceeds benefit local non-profit veteran’s organizations. Doors 6pm and music approx. 6:15-10:30pm.

Headlining this year’s event is popular South Lake Tahoe band Mudd Bonz, with Dennis McMasters serving as lead vocalist and harmonica player. Opening are blues-rock band Trippin’ King Snakes featuring lead singer David Warner and guitarist Mick Clarke. Military or other costumes (your favorite M*A*S*H character?) are encouraged and there will be fun costume contests between bands for best male, female and couple.

Tickets $25 at the RBS website or locally at Recycled Records, Melting Pot or Hippies Pipes and Incense. RBS members with dues being currently paid get a $5 rebate at the door with their ticket.

Military vehicles will be on display in the West parking lot (first lot off Exit 4) with easy access to the convention center. This is the 27th year the RBS has raised funds for local veterans’ organizations, only missing last year due to Covid-19 restrictions. Boomtown Hotel Casino is offering special room rates if you want to stay.
