(Rentiesville, OK) – Down Home Blues, Oklahoma Style – 200 musicians; 30 acts on 3 stages: a showcase of regional OK blues and four international headliners; admission $15 day, Kids free, Kid’s Village; come join the fun!

Mark your calendar for Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, and come to the longest running big blues fest in OK, the Rentiesville Dusk til Dawn Blues Festival, held at the authentic juke joint for the millennium! The festival is presented by F.O.R. Blues Inc., Selby Minner, the D.C. Minner Rentiesville Museum, and the best volunteers and sponsors.

Rentiesville is off US 69 two exits north of I-40 and 3 exits South of Muskogee. Exit at Checotah-Rentiesville, go right one mile and right again two miles past the Rentiesville Fire Dept and you are here.

Free Camping (must have a wristband). Electric hookups for RVs are available.

The festival takes place in Rentiesville, the childhood home of famed blues guitarist D.C. Minner, who founded the OBHOF in 2004 with his wife, Selby Minner. This year’s blues festival again showcases the region’s great blues tradition, plus a handful of nationals. D.C. Minner, in 6 Halls of Fame, is also an inductee of the Rhythm & Routes Oklahoma Music Trail, and is featured in a recently published book of the same title available from the OK Dept of Tourism.
