| Switzerland’s Smallest Big Blues Festival thru Aug 5 |
 (VALLEMAGGIA, SWITZERLAND) – Vallemaggia Magic Blues continues through August 5 on the beautiful squares of Switzerland’s villages of Vallemaggia, which are the stages for this annual event. The festival offers many exciting evenings of a variety of blues music. This small but great open-air festival, now in its 19th edition, welcomes dozens of national and international interpreters of blues and blues-rock music over the course of 5 weeks. Thanks to the original union between quality music and inviting sceneries, the event has definitely carved out a space among the major music festivals of the region. This year the program runs July 9 through August 5, with about twenty concerts on the squares of the villages of Vallemaggia. Over the past years, about 500 concerts and 300 musicians have performed.
