Fargo Blues Festival

FARGO, ND – The 20th annual Fargo Blues Festival will be held at Newman Outdoor Field August 14 and August 15, 2015. The festival is known for its world class entertainment on the pristine grass of Newman Outdoor Field baseball stadium. People have attended our festival from all lower 48 states, five Canadian provinces and 10 foreign countries.

There are 40 food, beer and novelty booths. The campground is 2 blocks away and 3 hotels are within walking distance. The event starts at 2:00pm Friday and noon Saturday. Three headliners will perform each day with 12 bands in all.

Friday lineup includes: (top headliner 1st), Tab Benoit, Grammy nominated, Blues Entertainer of the Year; Joe Louis Walker, Blues Hall of Fame, many blues awards; Jack Semple Band, guitar sensation from Regina, Canada; Sena Ehrhardt; Little Bobby; and T-Roy Anderson Blues Band (opening at 2pm).

Saturday lineup includes: (top headliner 1st), Fabulous Thunderbirds (featuring Kim Wilson), Grammy nominated, many Blues Awards and two classic rock hits, “Tuff Enough” and “Wrap it Up;” Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, Entertainer of the Year, Band of the Year and Song of the Year; Altered Five Blues Band, #1 Blues Album; Dave Weld & The Imperial Flames (from Chicago); Inside Straight Blues Band; and The Blues Band (opening at noon).

Tickets are available now in the FM area at Happy Harry’s and Mother’s Music. $35 (2 day early bird), $25 (1 Day), $85 backstage, $30 camping passes. Also at all seven Hornbachers starting June 19. There are nine out of town ticket outlets including Winnipeg. Rain or shine, all ages.
