The 22nd Heritage Music BluesFest Announces MainStage ScheduleWe are pleased to announce that the 22nd Annual Heritage Music BluesFest, will be held on August 11, 12, 13, 2023 in Wheeling, WV, and are happy to present our MainStage LineUp that features multiple Blues Music Award Nominations.Friday August 11 kicks off the 2023 BluesFest with Blues Music Award nominee Duwayne Burnside and culminates with the Funky Piano and vocal stylings of John Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen supported by the Heritage Horns.Saturday August 12 begins with a dramatic portrayal of “The Lady and the Empress”. Lady D portrays the Empress of the the Blues, Bessie Smith. Harmonica is featured on Saturday with performances by Tony Holiday, Dustin Arbuckle and multiple 23 BMA nominee John Nemeth. Blues Hall of Fame legend, Joe Louis Walker, will close out this incredible day of music.
Sunday will feature new music from IBC winners Deuce’n a Quarter and Mathias Lattin and BMA Best Emerging Artist nominee Yates MaKendree.
Closing out the BluesFest will be 2023 BB King Entertainer of the Year nominee Sugaray Rayford.The 2023 MainStage LineUp and artist website links are below:
