The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival returns to New Orleans for its 17th edition on October 11-13, 2024. The venue is at Lafayette Square Park (602 St. Charles Ave.).
Lil Ed & the Blues Imperials and Irma Thomas & the Professionals will headline the festival. It is presented by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, the nonprofit that owns Jazz Fest.

After being on hiatus for several years, the oral history stage at Gallier Hall returns to the 2024 Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival! Featuring artist interviews in an intimate setting, interviews will be held indoors on the afternoons of Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13. Get to know the festival performers, up close and personal!
The Jazz & Heritage Foundation will again auction off a customized guitar by Painted Axe that will have the signatures of the festival’s performers from all three days. Funds from this auction will benefit the programs of the Jazz & Heritage Foundation including the music education initiatives in New Orleans.

The festival is free, but VIP Experience Passes are available to those looking for a premium festival experience, which includes a private lounge in Gallier Hall, festival seating, two complimentary bars, indoor bathrooms, and air conditioning.
