B.B. King Homecoming Concert and Bridge Building Ambassadors

(Indianola, MS) – The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center presents the B.B. King Homecoming Concert on June 10th featuring Mississippi’s own, Dorothy Moore, at B.B. King’s historic Club Ebony in Indianola, Mississippi. Mississippi Native and 4-time GRAMMY Nominated artist Moore will be singing her hits, including, “Misty Blue,” “Funny How Time Slips Away” and “With Pen In Hand.” Special guests are also slated to perform. Tickets are $25 and $50. In other museum news the B.B.’s Bridge Building Ambassadors Class of 2016-2017 graduated from the program on May 27, 2017. A total of nineteen Ambassadors received their certificate of completion. After graduation, the group embarked on their annual summer trip to Atlanta, GA. They spent three days visiting many of the city’s major attractions, including the National Center for Civil Rights, The King Center, Ebenezer Baptist Church and the CNN Center. They also had a chance on visit Spelman and Morehouse College. We are so proud of the willingness, discipline and dedication that this group of young people has displayed throughout the program! They are definitely a great group of upcoming leaders!

The mission at the B.B. King Delta Museum and Interpretive Center is to “Inspire Hope, Creativity and Greatness.”
