EUREKA SPRINGS BLUES PARTY
A BluesRock & Funk Festival – Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Each year, beginning the Thursday after Memorial Day, the Eureka Springs Blues Party transforms this historic Ozark mountain town into a full-scale, city-wide music experience.

The story begins long before the modern festival. For decades, Eureka Springs has drawn musicians to its winding streets and creative culture. Legends like Koko Taylor, Bo Diddley, and Keb’ Mo’ helped shape a musical identity rooted in authenticity and discovery.

BLUES PARTY

Their legacy lives on in every note played during the Blues Party. But what truly sets this festival apart isn’t just history—it’s how the music interacts with the town. Unlike traditional festivals set in open fields, this one unfolds organically across downtown. Victorian buildings, hillside streets, and hidden venues become part of the performance itself. In between the stages, Eureka Springs reveals another layer of the experience—one built on discovery just as much as music.

The downtown shopping district winds through narrow streets filled with independent boutiques, art galleries, and locally owned shops that stay open late for the weekend, inviting festivalgoers to wander in and out between sets. Dining becomes part of the rhythm as well, with everything from elevated Ozark cuisine to casual bites and late-night eats, all within walking distance.

It’s seamless, spontaneous, and entirely unique—where a night out becomes an unfolding experience rather than a fixed plan. And it’s within this environment that the legacy of the Blues Party continues to grow.

2026: A City-Wide Soundtrack

The 2026 Eureka Springs Blues Party, marks the festival’s most ambitious year yet—four days, nearly 30 performances, and a lineup that reflects both tradition and evolution.

Thursday night kicks off in true Eureka Springs fashion with a high-energy Street Party in Basin Spring Park, where the entire town comes alive before the music carries into the evening and culminates with a powerhouse headlining performance from Eric Gales, whose electrifying guitar work and Memphis roots bring raw, undeniable energy to the opening night.

Friday keeps the momentum building with a night centered on standout performances from Carolyn Wonderland, Ally Venable, and Orianthi—a lineup that blends blues tradition with modern edge, showcasing some of the most dynamic guitar-driven talent on the scene today.

Saturday is full of music with Southern Avenue in the Basin Ballroom, music in BluesLand throughout the day and the Center Street Block Party for fun.

Saturday night shifts into deep groove territory with Dumpstaphunk, delivering a New Orleans funk experience that expands the festival beyond traditional blues, while the full weekend continues to layer in regional favorites, late-night sets, and unexpected collaborations.

The headliner show starts with a special celebration to the decade of music from the Cate brothers performed by
friends and family of the band.

Music continues on Sunday with a special Blues Brunch at the Crescent Hotel and BluesLand performances throughout the day.

Across the weekend, music fills every corner of town—block parties, pub crawls, club shows, and spontaneous performances. The Eureka Springs Blues Party doesn’t have a single stage—it has a city.

Venues throughout downtown carry the music deep into the night, while block parties and pop-up stages add daytime energy with tastings, music, and community connection.

Across it all, festivalgoers move freely, following the sound from venue to venue in a true walkable entertainment district.

This is what makes the Blues Party different. It’s not just a series of shows—it’s a fully immersive environment. Four days of music, movement, and shared experience where the town itself becomes part of the performance.

As the final notes fade on Sunday, one thing is certain:In Eureka Springs, the blues isn’t confined to a stage.
For one unforgettable weekend each year, it takes over everything.
