TN) – You must have a current membership to access the Blues Music Awards
ballot. Once you’re logged in you will see the BMA section at the top of the
portal with the link to your ballot. Voting closes on February 28, 2020
at 6pm Eastern/5pm Central/3pm Pacific. To listen to BMA nominated

The
Memphis Convention Center is undergoing renovations so The Blues Foundation is
creating a unique, new BMA experience for all attendees. The Blues Music
Awards will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at
the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts beginning at
6:30pm sharp followed by a special After Party to include buffet dinner,
cash bars, silent auction, and live performances by 2020 BMA nominees.
The
Cannon Center is a beautiful performance space with raised four-tiered seating
design and built with acoustics intended for live music. It is located on the
corner of Poplar Avenue and Main Street in Downtown Memphis, TN and is part of
the Convention Center Complex.
Guests
staying at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel can easily walk across the
street from the hotel to the Cannon Center.
The BMA After
Party will take place immediately following the BMA Show in the
Grand Lobby of the Renasant Convention Center (formerly the Memphis Cook
Convention Center). The two event spaces are connected by an indoor
walkway requiring a short stroll from the Cannon Center Theater to the
Renasant Convention Center Grand Lobby. There will be unassigned table seating
at the BMA After Party with enough seating for all attendees.
Tickets
are also available or the Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony which
is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, May
6 beginning at 5:30pm at the Halloran Centre for Performing
Arts located at 225 S. Main St. and next door to the Orpheum
Theatre. The Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony tickets include the
pre-event cocktail reception in the Halloran Center Lobby.
