INDIANOLA, MS – Here are some things happening at the B.B. King Museum Delta Interpretive Center during Black History Month and also a announcement about a special PBS broadcast.
On Thursday February 11, 2016 at 6pm, the museum will feature a viewing of the film Abolitionist, followed by a panel discussion from Gentry High School’s History Department. This event is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, February 13, The Sunflower Freedom Project will present their Black History play entitled, “Echoes”, here at the museum on Saturday, at 1pm. This is a free event. The public is invited to attend.
Of note: The national broadcast of B.B. King’s documentary, Life of Riley, will air Friday, February 12 at 9pm (ET) on PBS. Please check your local listings for airing times. The trailer can be viewed here.
