(EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA) – The 21st annual Edmonton Blues Festival continues to bring you the best in blues Aug 23-25 at Heritage Amphitheatre, in Hawrelak Park, Edmonton. Grammy winners, Juno winners, Maple Blues Award Winners, Blues Music Award winners, IBC winners, newcomers and bona fide legends will make their way to Edmonton each summer to create “Blues Heaven.” Fans and musicians all say… “this festival is what we wish all blues festivals were…an intimate, well run, world class celebration of the music and its’ fans…”

Friday August 23: Rott’n Dan and Lightnin Willy, Steve Marriner, Rick Vito, The Proven Ones (Brian Templeton, Kid Ramos, Anthony Geraci, Jimi Bott, Willie J. Campbell), Mark Hummel’s Chicago Blues Party featuring Deitra Farr, Billy Flynn, Oscar Wilson and Joe Beard.

Saturday August 24: Rooster Davis Group – Uncle Wigglys’ Hot Shoes Blues Band – Lindsay Beaver – Big Pete with 13- featuring Alex Schultz and Zach Zunis – Lil Jimmy Reed and his Band – Curtis Salgado Band

Sunday August 25: Samantha King and the YEG Trio – Curtis Salgado and Alan Hager Duo – Mississippi Heat with Special Guest Laurie Bell – Vanessa Collier Band – Sonny Landreth – Charlie Musselwhite

Three-day weekend passes will be available until 9 pm Thursday, single day passes available at the gate. Tickets will be available for pick up at the “Tickets/Will Call” tent starting at 2:30PM Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday. As of Thursday, August 22 at 9PM tickets will no longer be available through the festival website. Bring your email confirmation either printed out or on your phone to claim your tickets. Tickets may be available at the gate for all 3 days of the 2019 Edmonton Blues Festival!
