The Deep Blues Festival is a 4-day event with nighttime music at the legendary Shack Up Inn and New Roxy along with free daytime busking stages throughout historic Clarksdale, Mississippi. Featuring heavy, alternative blues musicians, this is not your mama’s blues festival.
Headline artists include Nikki Hill Band, Lightnin’ Malcom, Little Freddie King, AJ Ghent, Bill Abel, Lil’ Poochie’ Watson and more. Plus! Daytime busking stations and other venues like Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Art, Ground Zero Blues Club, Delta Blues Alley Café, Red’s Lounge, Grandma’s Sports Bar, Travelers Hotel, Hooker Grocery & Eatery, Levon, Hopeless Case Bar (Hambone Gallery), Auberge Hostel, Messenger’s, and Bluesberry Café.
Thursday evening headliners are Little Freddie King, and AJ Ghent [j-ent] at the New Roxy, and Dirty Streets, and Lightnin’ Malcolm at The Shack Up Inn.
Friday evening headliners are Red On Yellow and Chicken Diamond at The Shack Up Inn, and Hezekiah Early & Robert ‘Lil Poochie’ Watson, and Freight Train Rabbit Killer at the New Roxy.
Saturday evening headliners are Little Willie Farmer, and The Black Tones at The Shack Up Inn, and Nikki Hill, and Hillstomp at the New Roxy.
Sunday headliners are Bill Abel at The Shack Up Inn, and Rev John Wilkins at the New Roxy
Due to limited capacity at Shack Up Inn, single night tickets are only available for shows at the New Roxy.
