(Phoenix, AZ) – Henry Gray is arguably the most important surviving figure from the post-war Chicago blues legacy. He played on historically important recordings by Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter, Billy Boy Arnold, Dusty Brown, G.L. Crockett and many more! Amazingly enough Henry still is performing at the top of his game! His recent collaboration CD with Bob Corritore on the Delta Groove label garnered numerous nominations and accolades. Speaking of which, Henry Gray was just nominated for a 2017 Blues Music Award for Best Piano Player! Henry performs in Phoenix on Friday, January 20th to celebrate his 92nd birthday in true Rhythm Room blues extravaganza style!

The Rhythm Room is located at 1019 East Indian School Rd. Doors open 7:30 pm and show time is 8:30 pm. Advanced tickets are $12 available or they’re $15 at the door. This event is 21 and up.
