LANCASTER, PA – Lancaster Roots and Blues, A Festival of Music, held Feb 26-27-28, 2016, will feature 75 artists playing 90 concerts on 11 stages, all within three blocks of each other. Blues, jazz, folk, bluegrass, rockabilly, soul, gospel, Americana and more will help you end the winter doldrums.
Artists include Selwyn Birchwood, Zac Harmon, Tinsley Ellis, Albert Cummings, Maceo Parker, Joanna Connor Dana Fuchs and many more! The venues in historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania include the world-class performing arts stage at The Ware Center in Steinman Hall; the Robert Johnson stage at the beautiful Convention Center at the Marriott; Tellus 360 (both stages); Chameleon Club (main stage); Lancaster’s craft beer hall, The Federal Taphouse; the intimate Lancaster Dispensing Company, The Trust Performing Arts Center , the historic Elks Lodge, and new for this year The Village Nightclub, is the longest running nightclub in the U.S. by the same family, All of the venues are within short walking distance of each other and there will also be a bus traveling from venue to venue all weekend.
