KANSAS CITY, MO – Blues lovers in Kansas City are familiar with Knuckleheads Saloon and the roots of the blues are still very strong here. One annual event that the community embraces is MerleJam Transplant Fund and Concert. The event started in 2007 after Knuckleheads doorman Merle Zuel had his heart transplant and has raised over $100,000.

Last year’s event sold out and it promises to be another great show this year with Los Lobos headlining on Saturday May 2nd. Along with the concert, blues lovers have a chance to win a cabin on the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. Raffle tickets are on sale now and the winner will be announced right before the Los Lobos performance.
