The
Kimbrough Cotton Patch Soul Blues celebrates the life and legacy of Junior and
David Kimbrough JR. III hosted by Robert Kimbrough Sr. Junior’s baby boy. The
Kimbrough Cotton Patch Soul Blues Festival is held in Holly Springs, Mississippi
over the third weekend of May. Holly Springs, Junior Kimbrough’s hometown, is
located 40 miles South East of Memphis, Tenneesee. in the North Hills of
Mississippi. The festival is three days of blistering hot, electric Cotton
Patch Soul Blues in an unfiltered, authentic atmosphere, a Mississippi Juke
Joint. Robert invites anybody to come to Mississippi to learn about his
father’s music Cotton Patch Soul Blues the way he did, up close and personal. Robert
creates an intimate setting where festival attendees are welcomed like family and
are treated to incredible music and delicious food. Where stories are shared
and how life long memories are made. It’s off tha chain! Robert wants 2C yoface

Patch Soul Blues is a unique style of Blues. Learn the Kimbrough Cotton Patch style
from the originals. Who learned from Junior and Dave Jr. III with Robert Sr.,
Duwayne Burnside, and Mr. Joe Ayers teaching guitar. Lil’ Joe was an
Original Soul Blues Boy band member for 30 years. Kinney Kimbrough will teach
drums and Garry Burnside will teach bass.
Both Kinney
and Garry toured and recorded with Junior in the 1990s.
