The City of Greensboro, NC has immersed itself in the blues as a lead-up to the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society’s 28th Annual Carolina Blues Festival in association with YES! Weekly, the longest running blues festival in the Southeast, being held May 17, 2014, under the big tent in Festival Park in beautiful downtown Greensboro, NC.
As a tie-in to the Carolina Blues Festival, Downtown Greensboro, Inc. and the Open Art Society of Raleigh, NC have collaborated to select eight artists to create blues-themed art installations in downtown Greensboro storefronts.
