| The Mike Finnigan Legacy Lives On Mike Finnigan just made songs better. That’s why people such as Joe Cocker, Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Taj Mahal, Rod Stewart and Crosby, Stills & Nash sought out his fearless B-3 and soulful vocals for their music. Video: Click here to see the Phantom Blues Band But one thing remained constant over the past 25years. Finnigan always came back to the Phantom
Blues Band as a prime musical outlet. And with
Finnigan’s August 2021 passing from cancer, the PBB
and Little Village wanted to pay tribute to his
inspiration and camaraderie. The result is Blues for
Breakfast, featuring guests Bonnie Raitt, Curtis
 Salgado and Ruthie Foster.
Plus, 100 percent of the proceeds from the CD will goto the Mike Finnigan School of Music at the Stiefel
Theatre in Salina, Kan., where Mike was a hero in his
adopted hometown. The money will be used to
promote music and education – two of Mike’s
passions – by providing services and scholarships to
 students.
